Wanted Design NYC: Recap

WantedDesign took place in NYC, May 17-20, 2013.  Creative minds from all over the globe showcased their creations in hopes of reaching a broader market.  Everyone shared the passion for avant garde design but each individual's process was personally unique.  A common thread among all the artisans was their consciousness for sustainability for our one planet.  The home design industry has many bright stars, from all corners of the world, that came together for this one event.

It was interesting that some major companies were also involved: Axor, Bernhardt Design, Cappellini, Design Within Reach, Saint-Louis + Stephanie Odegard.  Between the lectures, meeting the artists + some great coffee from the permanent local shops, one would think this event was a bit mainstream?  No, it's just that globally great design is simply great design.  Did I mention the venue is actually the site of the Tunnel?  I do admit to  spending many late nights dancing into the morning, at this still, very hip, historical location. Ah the good old days!
