Meet Mindy

Known from my 5 year gig on Home + Garden Television, HGTV, I live + work in New York City designing beautifully comfortable homes.

Exposed to the high + low as seen through the eyes of my Clients + Vendors, I'm extremely fortunate to be invited into their private spaces. Constantly reminded of how our surroundings are so uniquely personal + affect us so profoundly, fuels the passion for my creativity.  Living with style can be easily attained with the guidance of a trained eye + resourceful approachable Designer.

As a boutique firm, we are available to work with you one-on-one either in person or remotely via the phone/web. I offer many levels of interior design, renovation, project management, purchasing + consultation services.  Please visit my firm's website for a formal introduction.

Here on my Blog, I offer a casual insight into the New York City Interior Design scene.  Parties ~ product launches ~ trade only events ~ charity happenings ~ etc.  You're invited to subscribe to our musings + follow at your choice of design venues listed below.

As always you are invited to call or email me directly with any design questions.

Appreciate you stopping by today ~m

Stylemakers: Better Homes & Gardens + Giveaway

The September issue of Better Homes & Gardens is jammed packed with home design inspiration from industry Tastemakers.  I was grateful to be included in an intimate meet + greet with these Stylemakers whose secrets + tips are revealed.

Kim Myles from HGTV's, "Myles of Style".
Of course I wanted to meet her! She remembered my days on "Decorating Cent's" + told me I was one of her influences - how nice!

Maxwell Gillingham-Ryan, "Apartment Therapy"
Another fellow HGTV alumni + author of the new book, "Big Book of Small, Cool Spaces".

Suzanne + Lauren McGrath
Mother/Daughter team + authors of, "Good Bones, Great Pieces".

*see giveaway info below

Moderated by Stacy Kunstel well known stylist + creator of the new hot line of home accessories, Dunes & Dutchess.

The take-away message from all interviewed was,
"Be creative + completly enjoy every area of your home".

Yes, everyone had their signature tips - but it's all in the way you do it: what's appropriate for your architecture, fits your budget + considers the needs of your family.

All that practical stuff aside,
all found inspiration in the creative spirit to try new decorating ideas + be bold at home!

Thanks to all the talented gals at Better Homes & Gardens.

Be sure to pick-up the September Issue, with Heidi Klum on the cover, on newsstands now.
The linked video defines the 5 essentials she suggests for a stylist fall wardrobe.
All the fun can also be followed on Twitter @BHG

*To be entered in our "Good Bones, Great Pieces" giveaway,
please leave a comment on our Facebook page,
as to why you would like the book + what your next home design project is.

Good Luck!

Winner will be announced, September 22.
