IF IT'S MARCH, IT MUST BE AQUAMARINE
If you can picture the cerulean blue waters of the Mediterranean, you will understand why the birthstone for March is named Aquamarine. Derived from the Roman word "Aqua," meaning water +"mare," meaning sea, this pale blue gem does indeed resemble the color of the cerulean blue waters of the Mediterranean, or the famous Tiffany blue. The ancient Romans believed that the Aquamarine was sacred to Neptune, the god of the sea, having fallen from the jewel boxes of sirens and washed onto shore. That's why sailors wore aquamarine talismans, engraved with the likeness of Neptune, as protection against dangers at sea.
Here are some non-conventional rooms, with the fan favorite aquamarine blue palette.
Adored by both men + women, it's what I call a "safe' color for bedrooms + hallways.
A peaceful color for those who want a bit of "Zen", easily agreeing to a color is a harmonious gesture.
Sure these images are far from calm, but inspirational with a bit of spice, for sure.
