View from my friend's guest bedroom. Dreamy. It's where you'll find me every other weekend thru August.

No rest for the obsessed. I snooze, you lose.

I crave this stuff...

When I seek out Depression Glass, pottery or an occasional piece of furniture,

the weekend is considered a "business trip".

I purchase objects for my projects: to complete a book shelf or use as a prop on a coffee table.

Above sits my little cluster of purchases.

The gold/metal/marble pedestal bowl was scooped up by yesterday's client,

for a centerpiece on herart deco dining table.

One of my "finds" might just show-up in your home!

 

Luv this chair.  It's now mine and waiting for the perfect home, then off to the upholsterer.

Rusty was keeping good watch, until I made a place for it in the back of my car.

Drove around for the rest of the weekend, w/o a rear window view.  I only drove forward!

 

East Hampton

While in an East End state-of-mind, wanted to share my relatives vacation home with you.

My uncle is my mom's twin brother, both are 86.  Great genes.

These furnishings have a lot of personal memories for me.

Childhood visits to my Uncle's previous home always ended up in the music room,

the location of the blue mid-century chairs.
